Hello, Park Place Neighbors,
Every year, we decorate our public spaces for the December holiday season.
This year we will gather on Saturday, November 27th at 10am to put up holiday trees and wreaths. Lots of hands make the work go quickly, so come and join the fun! It usually does not take more than an hour. It is a great opportunity to meet and work with other members of our community.
We will gather in the library at 10 and then divide up the locations.
Since what goes up must come down, also mark your calendars for Saturday, January 8th at 10:00 a.m.
November 23, 2021
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at Park Place at Lytle. The Board wishes everyone a safe and restful holiday.
Thank you to all the residents who have contributed to date to the Holiday Staff Gift. Your generosity is very appreciated. So far, over one third of the owners have made a contribution.
Every year since Park Place opened, the residents have shown their appreciation for all the work our cleaning staff and our front desk personnel do for us. Our approach is one common gift that ensures everyone is recognized and can have a wonderful holiday season.
If you have not had a chance to contribute, there still is time!
Most people give at least $100-some much more. Please give what you feel is appropriate.
Due to accounting and payroll reasons, the checks cannot be drawn on Association accounts. Therefore, please make your check payable to Rick Coomes-Treasurer PP@L with a notation “PP@L Holiday Gift”.
For your convenience you can drop your check off in the black wire mailbox outside Sheryl Waite and Rick Loesing’s offices. Please label your envelope “Holiday Gift.”
We would like to have your contributions by Thursday, December 16 at the latest so the gifts can be distributed prior to the Christmas holiday.
Thank you in advance and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Roxanne Qualls, President
On behalf of the Board of Directors
Dear Park Place at Lytle,
With the Holidays upon us we would like to take a moment to send you a friendly reminder on the Season guidelines. Also included below you will find the Season Trash Removal guidelines. We ask that you please take a moment to review all the information below. Thank you in advance for following the guidelines.
Seasonal Guidelines:
Christmas Trees – If you are planning on having a live Christmas tree in your unit, the following procedure must be followed:
Exterior Door, Window, or Balcony Displays or Decorations – Seasonal or religious decorations may be displayed from November 25th through January 10th on the windows and balconies.
Seasonal Trash Removal – Please do not attempt to place oversized garbage bags or boxes down the trash chutes as doing so will cause the chutes and compactors to malfunction. Any oversized seasonal garbage, such as wreaths and greenery, except trees must be in tightly closed plastic bags or tightly sealed paper bags and should be placed in designated areas, located on Butler Street south of exit gate. There will be appropriate signage indicating the location.
Special pick- up times for the disposal of Christmas Trees, wreaths and other large seasonal items will be announced as soon as the dates are received. Trees, wreaths, and other large items should be placed in the seasonal trash areas no sooner than the
night before the scheduled pick-up time and no earlier than 7:00 PM in the evening.
Trash Chute – High-rise living and disposing of trash can be an adjustment, especially during move-ins and holidays. Although residents are given guidelines at the time of moving into the building, there is much information to be assimilated in a short period of time.
levels, NOT down the trash chute.
Parties and Celebrations – Please bear in mind that residents will celebrate in many ways that are meaningful according to their particular traditions. If you are planning a party, have invited a number of guests,
or have reserved the Community or Polk Room for a celebration, please be considerate of all residents during the period of your event. Noise levels, especially within common areas, use of elevators, greeting of guests, and parking should be planned in advance of the event with the least inconvenience to other residents.
Thank you,
For the Board of Directors,
Sheryl
Dear Park Place at Lytle Residents,
We are thrilled to announce that we have once again partnered with St. Vincent DePaul to host our Annual Park Place at Lytle Coat Drive. Giving gently used coats, hats and gloves were so incredible last year and the need is so much greater this season we are truly hoping for all your support.
As in the past, two coat barrels will be dropped off in the first-floor garage elevator lobby on the afternoon of Friday, November 12th, and picked up again on Tuesday, November 16th.
We are sending this information out a little early this year to allow participants time to clean their closets and prep for the three-day drive.
In addition to the barrels, Terrance will bring two coat racks to the first-floor elevator lobby, as we are hoping to have many donations for this good cause.
If you have any items you wish to donate, please place them in the bins or on the rack in the first-floor lobby of the elevator Friday, November 12th through Tuesday, November 16th. Your generosity is appreciated.

Dear Park Place at Lytle Residents,
First, I want to THANK everyone for your continued patience during the issues with the alarm system. This has been very frustrating and confusing for everyone.
Normally a process for repair or solution does not take this long. It continues to be a trial-and-error process in which we have gotten all our vendors involved and are pressing hard for a solution.
The safety of the Park Place residents continues to be our NUMBER ONE priority.
Here is where we stand as of this moment:
Moving forward:
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT IF THE ALARM SOUNDS AND STAYS ON FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD THAT YOU PLEASE FOLLOW PROPER FIRE PROTOCOL.
Sincerely,
For the Board of Directors,
Jay Hollmeyer
Dear Residents,
This is a reminder to all residents to not put items for which they no longer have a use in the common areas. Items have recently begun to appear in the library. The attached photo is but one example. If you no longer have use for personal items, clothing, furniture etc., please dispose of them properly or donate them to a charity that would like to receive them.
No items are to be put in any common space without the permission of the board.
Thank you,
For the Board of Directors
