Coat Drive at PPL to benefit St Vincent de Paul
Thursday, October 13th– Monday, October 24th
Dear Park Place at Lytle Residents,
We are thrilled to announce that we have once again partnered with St. Vincent DePaul to host our Annual Park Place at Lytle Coat Drive. Giving gently used coats, hats and gloves was so incredible last year and the need is so much greater this season we are truly hoping for all your support.
As in the past, two coat barrels will be dropped off in the first-floor garage elevator lobby on the afternoon of Thursday, October 13th, and picked-up again on Monday, October 24th. We are sending this information out a little early this year to allow participants time to clean their closets and prep for the drive.
In addition to the barrels, Terrance will bring two coat racks to the first-floor elevator lobby, as we are hoping to have many donations for this good cause.
If you have any items you wish to donate, please place them in the bins or on the rack in the first-floor lobby of the elevator Thursday, October 13th through Monday, October 24th. Your generosity is appreciated.
For the Board of Directors,
It’s time to come together as a community to shower Kierra Nelson with good wishes!
You are cordially invited!
When: Saturday, September 24th
Time: 9-11 AM
Where: Park Place Polk Room
Please see the attached Kierra Nelson Shower Invitation for more details.
We look forward to seeing many of you on the 24th!
Thank you,
Barb Hammel & Marilu Arbogast
Dear Residents,
Below is the eagerly awaited notice regarding the Riverfest fireworks viewing from the rooftop of Park Place at Lytle!
For those of you who requested rooftop passes, I’m happy to announce all those requests have been honored. For those of you that wished to be placed in the lottery for additional rooftop & parking passes please sign up on the list at the lobby front desk. All tickets are now available for pickup as of today, Monday, Aug. 29th.
Please remember that to comply with building codes and the City of Cincinnati Fire department guidelines for emergency egress we must limit the number of people on the rooftop to an absolute maximum of 146 at any time.
To maximize safety, we will close the rooftop to all residents at 7:00 pm, on the evening of the display, and reopen at 7:30 pm for those with a building-issued pass. Please note: you will not be allowed on the rooftop without your building-issued pass (aka, wristbands)!
Additional notes/rules:
Thank you in advance for your cooperation! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Dear Residents,
Please take a moment to read the attached Park Place Newsletter 8.16.22 provided by the Board President, Roxanne Qualls.
The goal of this newsletter is to help you understand what’s happening in our community. It’s full of valuable, need-to-know information about members, the association and local community.
We hope you find it informative.
Thank you,
For the Board of Directors

We are again, this year sponsoring a Crayons To Computers collection point here at Park Place to gather much needed school supplies for teachers who shop at the C2C store where Sally and I volunteer. See the attached flyer that describes in more detail the mission of C2C and also contains a list of the most needed items for students. Collection boxes will be available in the 1st floor freight elevator lobby for the next two weeks.
The response to this outreach last year by PPL residents was tremendous and so very much appreciated by the C2C staff. We hope you will consider donating supplies again this year.
Thank you for your generosity.
Sally and Rick Coomes

Hello, Park Place Neighbors,
Every year, we decorate our public spaces for the December holiday season.
This year we will gather on Saturday, November 27th at 10am to put up holiday trees and wreaths. Lots of hands make the work go quickly, so come and join the fun! It usually does not take more than an hour. It is a great opportunity to meet and work with other members of our community.
We will gather in the library at 10 and then divide up the locations.
Since what goes up must come down, also mark your calendars for Saturday, January 8th at 10:00 a.m.
