Please plan to join us for some fun at our upcoming social events! Please note that we have changed the time of year for some of our events.

The Social Committee hopes that you have marked your calendar for our big Derby Party on May 3rd at 5:00 in the Atrium. It was a smashing success last year and we
are looking forward to an even bigger and better event this year! Lovely hats encouraged but not required.
Live music from Elaine Diehl and Boutique will begin at 5:00. You will not want to miss hearing them. They are fabulous.
Please bring an appetizer to share. Mint Juleps will be provided by the Social Committee. John Fecker will do an encore as bar tender. If there is something else
you’d like to drink BYOB. Keith Grass and Charlie Luken will do a repeat performance running the betting table.
You will receive an RSVP form in your mailbox when we get nearer to May 3. Please reply with number and names of guests so we can prepare name tags
and know how much bourbon to buy!

Help create a Little Library Book Nook for tots and teens!
• A quiet corner in the 4th floor Boat Club will be transformed into the Book Nook this spring for PP@L children and grandchildren.
Now accepting donations of books (used or new, suitable for toddlers to teens).
• TO DONATE: deposit books, workbooks, coloring books/crayons in marked box in the library. Gift cards also accepted to help
purchase “reading rug,” floor pillows, and bookcase. Stay tuned for progress reports and launch date.

Missing social contact during the week? Join the brown bag lunch on the second Tuesday of each month at noon (12PM) in the library. Bring your lunch
and enjoy some conversation and time away from your computer screen.
